Conveyancing

Expert legal representation

Buying or selling? Need someone to review a contract? We can help. Conveyancing is the buying and selling of real estate. Generally speaking, the sale or purchase of property is a fairly straightforward process. But sometimes things can go wrong and in those situations you cannot be afforded better protection than having us on your side.

Buying?
If you are ready to buy your dream home (and congratulations on making this exciting decision!) enlist our services today so that we can make the transfer of your home as easy and stress free as possible. We can review contracts, order the relevant pest and building and/or strata reports on your behalf, and liaise with your bank on mortgage settlements and transfer of title. If you are headed to auction, we can review the contract prior to auction. Similarly we are also happy to review a proposed contract after you have inspected a property. We just want to make sure that all is in order for you prior to you signing on the dotted line. After the contract has become binding, we will arrange payment of your stamp duty, liaise with your bank regarding the mortgage and transfer of title, calculate adjustments for council, water and strata rates, and make final checks on the title.

Selling?
If you are ready to sell your property, we can prepare your contract for sale and the prescribed documents and get these over to your real estate agent promptly so that they can go to market.Your property cannot be put up on the market or shown to any prospective purchasers without a contract so contact us today to prepare this for you and get the ball rolling as soon as possible.During the wait for settlement (usually 6 weeks after exchange), we will liaise with your bank regarding releasing any mortgage held on the property. We will also adjust the purchase price of the property in light of council, water and strata rates that need to be shared between the parties.
